1. Who Can apply to join the group?
Any boy from the age of 8 upwards.

2. What Standard do I have to be to join?
If you love singing, we'd love to hear from you.

3. How much does it cost?
There is a membership fee, currently £30 per term. The cost of any tours or trips we may arrange is extra, although we always attempt to assist in cases of hardship in order that no-one is denied access on financial grounds.

4. Who works with the group?
CVB is directed by Thom Meredith and accompanied by Chris Pulleyn.

5. How do I go about joining?

6. When do you rehearse?
Every Monday during term time. The rehearsal starts at 5.30pm prompt until 6.30pm for younger voices, they are joined by the Seniors at 6.00pm until 6.30pm. The older boys then continue until 7.00pm. All rehearsals are at Slaithwaite Conservative Club. The doors open at 5.15pm

7. Do parents have to stay during the rehearsal?
It is not a requirement that parents stay as there are sufficient volunteers to monitor the boys. However, if you wish to stay you are more than welcome.

8. Do I have to be from the Colne Valley?
Just like the Male Voice Choir you do not have to be from the Colne Valley area and all boys are welcome.

9. As a parent, how can I help?
Parents have an active role in ensuring the smooth running of the organisation through membership of the Board and we are always happy to receive constructive comments and feedback.
